Whether you’re looking for a centralized storage solution for your files, or if you have information that needs to be available to other College staff, including individuals in your own area, SharePoint provides a secure and centralized space for collaboration, file sharing and web publishing.
As IT can provide only limited support to SharePoint users, it is imperative that each SharePoint site has at least one person with demonstrated SharePoint experience or training to act as administrator for their site. Each area administrator will be responsible for their Sharepoint site collection including managing user access, developing page layouts, document libraries, content updates, etc.
To request a new SharePoint site for your area, please contact the IT Service Desk and provide the following information:

Most sites are restricted to a specific list of people so you will not be able to view all sites. You must contact the "site owner" to gain access to a Sharepoint site.
Online training via lynda.com is available to all Sheridan staff members. Follow the instructions below to access the training site.
