[September 3, 2021] If you are trying to log-in to your Sheridan Microsoft 365 account via office.com, you will intially be prompted to log-in via Microsoft’s authentication services rather than Sheridan’s Single Sign-On (SSO) service. This can also sometimes happen if you're trying to access a link to a shared document (e.g. a Word or Excel file).

For MS authentication, you will prompted first for your UPN (user principal name) before being directed to Sheridan SSO to complete the log-in process. Your UPN is in the format 'username@shernet.sheridancollege.ca'. You can find your UPN by logging into the User Info Utility.

User’s accessing apps and services through Sheridan’s Office portal – office.sheridancollege.ca – will still sign-on using Sheridan SSO.
