A shared network drive is a remotely accessible folder that can be used for storing and sharing files with other users.
To request a Shared Network Drive send email to the IT Service Desk that includes the following information:
Users who want access to an existing Shared Network Drive will need to have the owner of the drive request access on their behalf. The drive owner should contact the Information Technology Service Desk providing the following information:
To have individuals removed from accessing a Shared Network Drive, the drive owner should contact the Information Technology Service Desk and indicate the following:
The default size for network drives is 500 MB (unless otherwise specified when the drive is created). To request additional disk space, the drive owner should contact the Information Technology Service Desk indicating the following:
* Additional storage space that brings the file share above 1TB may require a small departmental cost transfer to Information Technology to accommodate. An Information Technology staff member will contact the drive owner to discuss the cost transfer, if required.
