Configuring the Default 'Mail' App (Windows 10)

Follow the instructions below to configure your Sheridan Office 365 account for use with the default 'Mail' app on Windows 10.

  1. Click the Windows start menu and choose Settings.
    Start Menu > Settings

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Select Add an account

  4. Choose Advanced setup.

  5. Choose Exchange ActiveSync.

  6. Enter your account details as illustrated below. Click Sign in when done.
    • Email address:
    • Password: your Sheridan password
    • Domain: leave blank
    • Server:

  7. The Make my PC more secure prompt will appear. Click Enforce these policies.

  8. Launch the Mail app and click Get started.

  9. Note that your Sheridan 365 account appear on the Accounts screen. Click Ready to go to access your mail.

  10. Your Office 365 is now setup and ready for use. To access calendar features click the calendar icon at the bottom of the window.

  12. Click Get started.

  14. Your Office 365 calendar is now available.
