Configuring Office 365 for Mail/Calendar on an iOS Device

[updated Aug. 27, 2019] Follow the instructions below to configure your Sheridan Office 365 account on your iOS device.

  1. Launch the Settings app.
  2. Select Passwords & Accounts.

  3. Select Add Account.

  4. Select Exchange.

  5. Enter your Sheridan email address in the Email field and enter a description (this can be anything you like). Tap Next.

  6. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm signing in to your Exchange account. Tap Sign In.

  7. You will be redirected to Sheridan's Single Sign On page. Enter your Sheridan username and password and tap the Login button.

  8. You can now verify which applications to sync to your Exchange account. Turning on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders and Notes will ensure that you're Office 365 settings are automatically applied across all of these applications. Select Save when done.

  9. With your account successfully configured, you can now see it added to your list of accounts. You can now exit the settings app and open the Mail app.

  10. When you launch the Mail app, you'll see that your account has been added and ready for use. If you synced other iOS apps with your Sheridan Office 365 account (see step #8) they will be set-up and ready to go as well.
