Bookings is an easy way for Sheridan departments and faculties to provide services to their clients on an appointment basis.

Bookings allows you to customize appointment details, booking requirements, and specify service providers to streamline the booking experience. Integration with staff’s Office calendar helps to quickly find available time to avoid double-booking, and an easy to navigate webpage lets your customers find and book appointments around the clock. Bookings helps you spend less time scheduling and more time meeting with customers.

Do people booking my service need to have access/be licensed for Microsoft Bookings to schedule a booking?

No. Anyone that has access to the service bookings URL will be able schedule a booking time in your service calendar.

I already have a team/department email address/calendar that we use to schedule service bookings, can we sync the Microsoft Bookings calendar with that email address/calendar?

No. You cannot sync an existing email address/calendar with your Microsoft Bookings service.

How do I setup my own Microsoft Bookings business and services?

Can I offer group bookings where multiple people can book the same service at the same time?

Yes, there is a group bookings functionality that allows multiple people to book the same appointment at the same time (such as for a fitness class). This functionality is described in the 'Ability to book' section of the Microsoft Tech Community page.

Can I define a terms and conditions notice for users when the are making a booking?

Yes, in the business information section of Microsoft Bookings you can provide a URL for a terms and conditions website that will be shown as a link to users on each of the booking pages.

Do all of my Microsoft Bookings staff members have to be a Sheridan employee or student to add them as part of my staff list?

No. If you want to add someone outside of Sheridan as a staff member, they can still be added as a bookable resource but you cannot assign them the Administrator or Viewer roles. See more on this Microsoft Support page.
