[updated February 11, 2021] Sheridan alumni who utilize their Sheridan email accounts are now required to change her/his password every 365 days. After changing your password, you will need to update the saved Sheridan passwords on any and all devices that you use to access your Sheridan email account.
You will receive email notification 20 days prior to your password expiring. Failure to reset your password within the 20 day period can result in you being locked out of your account. Below is a sample of the email notification you will receive when your password expires:
SUBJECT: *First* Password Expiry Reminder
Passwords must be changed every 365 days and the password for your Sheridan account is nearing expiry. In order to continue uninterrupted access to your account, please change your password as soon as possible.
To change your password, login to AccessSheridan (the link is accessible from the main Sheridan website) and click on the "Change Password" link under the "Account Utilities" heading.
If you do not change your password, you will receive two subsequent email reminders – one per week for the next two weeks. One week after the third reminder you will lose access to your account if your password has not been changed.
To regain access please use the password reset utility found on the AccessSheridan login page. If you require assistance changing your password, contact the IT Service Desk at 905-845-9430 ext. 2150.
