Printing Software Upgrades this Weekend:
[Nov. 20, 2014] Beginning on Saturday, November 22 at 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 23, IT staff will be applying software patches and upgrading our Papercut software. Consequently, general-purpose network printing across all Sheridan campuses will be unavailable during this timeframe.
Any print jobs* that are submitted Saturday night and are not released from the printer prior to the service window will remain in the queue can be released following the upgrade period.
* print jobs remain in the print queue for 4 hours or until they are released, whichever comes first.
Students and staff who access specialized printers and pay for printing services via FAAD’s Papercut system are unaffected by this upgrade and will be able to access these printers and services as normal.
