[November 30, 2020] In July 2017, Adobe announced the end-of-life for the Flash Player to take effect on December 31, 2020. Adobe will be discontinuing support for Flash Player and most web browsers have already disabled and blocked Flash.
Although most courses at Sheridan Learn do not have Flash content, we want to make sure all faculty are aware that Flash will be reaching end of life at the end of the year. These files (e.g., .flv, .swf) could be:
For courses that have Flash content, instructors will need to remove or replace that content with a supported format, such as HTML5. When creating any new content be sure not to export it into any Flash content file types.
