[Apr. 4, 2016] There are some desktop phones that are stuck in an update cycle across all campuses.
Our teams are actively addressing this problem, however this will take some time due to the volume and scattered locations of these models.
If you need to use your phone before we get to you; please follow the instructions listed below for self-help. If all else fails, contact the Service Desk at ext. 2150.
The phone model that is affected (Cisco 8945) looks like the picture to the right.
The model can also be verified by checking the middle white sticker on the back of the phone.
The entire process should take about 2 to 3 minutes to complete.
