[Sept. 19, 2019] IT will be moving the employee room resources that are booked through Calendar from our current, on-premises Exchange environment to Exchange Online. This change will go into effect on Friday, September 27. This prerequisite step is required for the larger migration of employee email and calendar resources that is happening later this fall.
Following this change, users will be required to provide their Sheridan credentials* when accessing room resources via calendar. To authenticate you will need to enter your Sheridan username using the format email@example.com as illustrated below. Check the box beside ‘Remember my credentials’ and you will not need to authenticate every time you access room resources.
* Once all employee resources have been migrated to the Cloud this step will not be necessary.
The migration of employee email/calendar resources will start in October, with migrations occurring department by department. You will receive email notification prior to your resources being moved.
