Attend a Laptop Readiness Session and Ensure your Laptop is Ready for your First Class

[August. 17, 2018] All students – even the most technology savvy – are strongly encouraged to attend a Laptop Readiness Session following new student and international student orientation events. These are important sessions where you will log into Sheridan's network with your laptop and access software required for your courses.

Get the Support You Need and Avoid Start-of-Term Line-ups and Service Delays

Although accessing our network and downloading software is usually straightforward, personal firewall settings and anti-virus software that might be installed on your computer can sometimes present challenges. Attending one of these sessions will ensure that you get the support you need so your laptop is ready for use on Sheridan's network right out of the gate.

Set Up All Your Mobile Devices

If you have a smart phone, tablet or other wifi-enabled device, bring it with you. We can help you configure it for use on Sheridan's network as well.

Session Options

Attend a Session that Coincides with Your Orientation Date
