Attend a Laptop Readiness Session and Ensure your Laptop is Ready for your First Class

All Mobile Computing students – even the most technology savvy – are strongly encouraged to attend one of the Laptop Readiness Sessions that will be held in August and September. These are short, but important sessions where you will log into Sheridan's network with your laptop and install software required for your courses.

Get the Support You Need and Avoid Start-of-Term Line-ups and Service Delays

Although accessing our network and downloading software is usually straightforward, personal firewall settings and/or anti-virus software that might be installed on your computer can sometimes present challenges. Attending one of these sessions will ensure that you get the support you need so your laptop is ready for use on Sheridan's network right out of the gate.

Set Up All Your Mobile Devices

If you have a smart phone, tablet or other WiFi enabled device, bring it with you - we can help you configure up for use on Sheridan's network as well.
