About IT
Technology Assets and Business Management (TABM)
IT's TABM team provides administrative support for the IT department and, in some cases, the Sheridan Community. TABM promotes integrated systems that ensure operational effectiveness and fiscal responsibility while supporting Sheridan’s mandate to provide quality service.
Specifically, they are responsible for the business operations of the technology unit, including:
- budgeting
- purchasing
- contract and lease management (hardware and software)
- software distribution
- inventory management
- human resources management
- coordinating technology unit training
- providing administrative support to the Associate Vice President, IT
- managing IT components for College-wide projects and initiatives, e.g., new buildings, labs, mobile classrooms, etc.
