Voicemail Boxes

About Voicemail Boxes

All faculty and staff are eligible for a voicemail box. All employee’s that have an extension on a desktop phone will automatically have an associated voicemail box.

If an employee does not have a desktop telephone associated to them they are eligible for a phantom voicemail box.

Regardless of the type of mailbox you receive, you can access your voicemail from any telephone — on or off campus.

Accessing Your Voicemail from a Desktop Phone

Depending on your desktop phone model, your voicemail can be accessed by pressing one of the following buttons on your phone:

You will be prompted to enter:

  • id (your assigned extension) followed by #
  • your pin (default pin is 12345) followed by #

First time enrollment:

The first-time enrollment conversation is a set of pre-recorded prompts that will guide you through the following tasks:

  • Recording your name
  • Recording a greeting that outside callers hear when you do not answer your phone
  • Changing your PIN

Accessing Voicemail from outside the College

You can access your voicemail external to the College as follows:

  • call 905-815-4000
  • you will then be prompted to enter your id (assigned extension) followed by #
  • enter your pin (default pin is 12345) followed by #
