How to Book an IT Service Appointment

Sheridan staff and students can schedule service appointments to deal with technology issues that require a bit more time and effort to address. Appointments can be 30 minutes to 2 hours in length and can be booked Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between 1:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Please note that service appointments are NOT available during the first week of a new semester.

  1. Open a web browser and go to: https://roombooking.sheridancollege.ca/SSO and log-in with your Sheridan username and password.

  2. You will be presented with the EnCampus Portal page. Under the Self Service heading click the link Find a room.

  3. On the Find a Room page you will be presented with a number of options.

    1. Booking Type: choose IT Service Desk Tech Session.
    2. Location: select all if you want to search for all available at all campuses. Alternatively, select a campus from the dropdown menu to search for available appointments at a specific campus.

    3. Use additional criteria (optional): Not applicable in this situation.

    4. Check a specific date and time: use this option if you are looking to book an appointment on a specific day within the specified period of time. Click Verify Availability to see available room options. Click the Book button beside the appointment you would like to book and to confirm your selection.

    5. Find a date: choose this option if you're not particular about a date. It will look for all available appointments within the period of time specified (within a 25 day period). Click Verify Calendar to see a calendar of dates where rooms are available for the time period and duration specified.

      Click one of the available calendar dates to see a list of room options. Click the Book button beside the room you want to reserve to view room details and to confirm your selection.

  4. When you select the 'Book' button, you will be presented with the Booking Confirmation screen. Review the request details and select an appointment type. Make sure that you booked a long enough appointment to accommodate your appointment type. Click Confirm to request your service appointment.

  5. A popup will appear asking you to confirm the request submission. Click OK.

  6. Another popup will confirm that your booking request has been saved. Click OK.

  7. Once your request has been saved your browser will be directed to the My Bookings page where you will see confirmation of your appointment booking.
    • All of your appointment and room bookings will appear on this page.
    • You will receive a confirmation via your Sheridan email account. We will also notify you of any changes to this appointment via email.
    • If you need to cancel your appointment, simply click the cancel button beside your appointment details. You can do this up until the time of your appointment.
