How to Configure OS X Mail to Connect to Office 365

  1. Launch System Preferences and select Internet Accounts
    (note: in OS versions 10.7x - 10.8x this will be labeled Mail, Contacts & Calendars)

  2. Select Exchange
    Add Exchange

  3. Enter the following the details:
    • Name: your name
    • email address: your Sheridan email address
    • Password: your Sheridan password
  4. user-pw

  5. Enter the details below in the Account Settings window and click Continue when done:
    • Description: Office 365 (this can be anything you like)
    • User Name: your Sheridan email address (username@sheridancollege.ca)
    • Password: your Sheridan password
    • Server Address: outlook.office365.com

  6. You will see a summary of your account details. Click Continue.


  7. Select the apps you want to use with your Office 365 account and click Done.

  8. Your account is now setup and ready to use.

  9. Launch Mail to begin using your account.
