Configuring Mail & Calendar on an iOS Device

  1. Launch the Settings app on your device.

  2. Click on Mail, Contact, Calendars in the settings menu on the left, then choose Add Account… under the Accounts heading.

  3. You will be presented with a list of account types. Choose Microsoft Exchange.

  4. Add your account information as follows and click Next when done:
    • Email: username@sheridancollege.ca
      do not use the traditional first.last@sheridancollege.ca format
    • Password: your Sheridan password
    • Description: enter a description for the account (e.g. Sheridan)

  5. To complete the setup, you will need to enter some server details. Add the details shown below and click Next when done:
    • Server: mail.sheridancollege.ca
    • Domain: SHERNET
    • Username: your Sheridan username

  6. A window will appear asking you to verify which apps to sync to your Exchange account. Turning on Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders will ensure that you're Exchange settings are automatically applied across all of these apps. Click Save when done.

  7. Your Sheridan account is now setup and ready to be accessed. The window below shows the Sheridan account setup and ready to use in the Mail and Calendar apps.
